Agricultural exports became a hot issue that was being discussed at the session of the National Assembly Standing Committee this morning. Representative of the Minister of Planning and Investment - Bui Quang Vinh acknowledged: "Not only watermelon as reported by the press, many other items are also very difficult".

After the recent rice congestion at the border gate, the Government has twice met to discuss consumption, and requested the Chinese side to cooperate in trade ... This over-the-road mainstay is still not very satisfactory.

This morning's opening session is the last working session of the Standing Committee, preparing for the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly, starting at the end of the month. The Committee gives opinions for the Government to complete the overall socio-economic report in the first months of the year and discuss solutions for the last months of the year.

Participating in the discussion, Chairman of the Committee for Social Affairs - Truong Thi Mai said that the Government should report additionally on the situation of farmers' lives, which are very difficult when harvested agricultural products cannot be sold. OK. “Many agricultural products do not enter the market, the prices are low, the society has to join hands to sell melons and onions. But that is the heart solution, the Government should analyze and have a stronger solution ”, Ms. Mai said.
